Meerkat is a total sweetheart. She is naturally a very small cat, and when she was a kitten she would stand up on her hind legs to look over things because she was so small, which is why she’s named Meerkat. She is a totally sweet little bug who loves pets and attention and wants to be around people, but can also manage fairly independently. She is litter box trained and has never had a problem with it. She is vaccinated and microchipped.

We have to rehome her because we have to move. She is scheduled to be fixed, as she had an accidental litter recently. They are rehomed. However, because we are moving, we can no longer afford to get her fixed, especially because we don’t qualify for low income spay and neuter, and we especially can’t afford to fix her just to rehome her. My car also just died last night and now I have to pay for a new car out of the money we have to move, which is less than half of what we need to move in the first place.

She is well behaved with other cats and loves our neighbor’s daughter, so will likely have no problem with children. She is afraid of dogs but would likely adjust to having one around as well.

It breaks my heart to see her go. I just want a loving home for her, with a family who will treasure her as much as we do. She is precious to us, and has so much personality, and is a very laid back cat too. She deserves so much, and I’m hoping I can find someone compassionate to give her the best life possible, because our next least expensive option is to surrender her to a shelter, and I don’t want her going to one, and I don’t want her to have to deal with the stress.
