Kobe and Sandy's Information
Age Range: 12 Years
Location: Seattle, WA
Kobe, miniature pinscher mix, 14lbs, 12-13 years old. Still energetic and loves play time with his humans, but as a senior is happy to spend most of the day lounging on your lap or sleeping. Very friendly! Tends to have a little leash aggression with strange dogs, but loves them as soon as the leash comes off. Great with children and would be fine in a home with other dogs. Cats I’m not so sure about, he’s never been around them. He’s house trained and kennel trained. Vaccinations are up to date and he has had recent dental cleaning. Kobe did very well with humans who work outside the home during the day, but will want lots of attention when they return. He just wants to give and receive love!
Sandy, (not pictured) chihuahua mix, about 7lbs and 14-15 yrs old. True chihuahua in that she barks at all new people, may nip if they try to pet her (twice in 10 years, and since most of her teeth are missing it hasn’t caused injury). after knowing you an hour or two she is a super loving snuggly lapdog. She’s likely on her last years and is losing her sight. Occasional bursts of energy followed by lots of sleeping. House trained and kennel trained.
We have loved these two for a decade, but child allergies and other family issues have us basically kenneling or separating them from us almost all day. It’s not good for them. Would love to find someone who will give them a good home for their remaining years.
